VR Training
Prototype for Industrial Training
This VR training prototype demonstrates the potential of native VR applications for industrial training. Developed for HP, the application shows handling of Jet Fusion series 3D printers in a realistic virtual environment.
Implementation used Unreal Engine, optimized for HP Reverb G2 headset. Native development enables high-quality graphics and precise tracking—prerequisites for realistic VR training on technical equipment.
Employees practice workflows risk-free: machine operation, procedures, and handling can be repeated as often as needed without blocking real production equipment or consuming materials.
Mistakes become learning opportunities instead of costly errors. The immersive experience accelerates onboarding. VR training makes complex machine processes comprehensible and supports effective knowledge transfer in industrial practice.
As a prototype, the project demonstrates the feasibility and benefits of VR training for manufacturing companies. Native VR applications complement EDBYTO’s portfolio of browser-based WebXR solutions with powerful training scenarios for specialized industrial applications.
